Anaheim California Winter NAMM - January 16 - 20
Booth 3540

With a grand total of 88,128 registrants, this year's Winter NAMM reported another record-breaking show. Attendees were treated to a dizzying array of musical merchandise from all of the top manufacturers. The 4 day event was held in the Anaheim Convention Center and it featured three floors of musical gear and accessories. Those fortunate enough to attend got their semi-annual dose of instrumental goodies; a chance to see and try all the latest musical stuff. Bigsby, the worlds finest vibrato, was situated in Gretsch Booth #3540.

The booth featured the complete pro-line of Bigsby Vibrato Systems as well as the Licensed Series. Bigsby offers a specific vibrato system for every guitar on the market. In fact, this year's NAMM Show had more guitars with factory installed Bigbys' than ever before. An increasing number of guitar makers now offer a Bigsby as an upgrade to their instrument, some even as a standard feature. This is due to the fact that nothing increases the "cool" factor like the True Vibrato of a Bigsby Trem on your favorite guiter.

Many artists and dealers stopped by to ask basic questions or to tell tales of their most beloved axe with a Bigsby. Others wanted to learn more about what models would fit on certain guitars and to see what was involved in installing a Bigsby. It was for these fans that we featured hourly Bigsby installations in the booth by guitar tech Adam Seutter. Solid and hollow body guitars from various makers were chosen for the demonstrations. Our tech was more than happy to show all how easy and non-evasive it is to put a B5 or B7 on any style of guitar. Most installations took less than 30 minutes with a few tools. "A piece of cake...it's all done" said Seutter.

Also in Gretsch Booth #3540 was the latest apparel and merchandise from Gretschgear. The new Bigsby Vibrato and Guitar Special Collection T-Shirts were of particular interest to the many dealers visiting the booth. In celebration of the Gretsch Company's 125th Anniversary, there are a series of new products now available, as is all official Gretsch Gear. For more information please visit gretschgear.com.
