Bigsby Unveils New Ad Campaign

Bigsby Vibratos has launched its newest campaign, a series of ads showing Bigsby vibratos in a variety of playing situations with a variety of players. Featuring the tag line “Everything you need; Nothing more, nothing less. It’s a Bigsby”, these advertisements are designed to highlight the amazing flexibility, usefulness, and incomparable vibe that Bigsby brings to players and their instruments.

A second component of the ads is an invitation to players at every level to send photos of themselves playing their Bigsby equipped instrument to perhaps be featured in a future advertisement. “It’s all about the musicians, their amazing sense of individuality and style, and the unbelievably creative things that they do with their Bigsbys” says Fred Gretsch, president of Bigsby. “Over the years I’ve been fortunate to see players from Duane Eddy to Jack White use their Bigsbys, and I never cease to be amazed at the creativity of the musicians, and the flexibility of the Bigsby.”

The new Bigsby ad campaign has begun running in Rockabilly Magazine, Vintage Guitar Magazine, and in the newest Kaman’s catalog. Other publications will be added in the coming months.

About Bigsby:
The Bigsby company was founded by Paul Bigsby in the 1950’s, as a part of the golden age of Southern California musical instruments. Paul Bigsby invented many musical instrument firsts, including the first Solidbody electric guitar, and the Vibrato systems that bear his name and are his most famous invention. Acquired by Fred Gretsch Enterprises, Ltd. in 1999, Bigsby is literally and figuratively a perfect fit with Gretsch, as the vibrato systems have appeared on Gretsch (and other) guitars continuously for over 55 years.
